The Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball game against Grambling State scheduled for Friday night has been cancelled.
Wisconsin made the announcement Thursday morning in the wake of Winter Storm Elliott that is whipping across the state and entire Midwest. With several inches of snow expected, high winds, low visibility, and below zero wind chills, the University cancelled the game for safety concerns.
The non-conference game against Grambling State will not be made up later in the year.
The next game on Wisconsin's schedule is now December 30th at the Kohl Center at 7 PM against Western Michigan.
