Sometimes talent is too evident to overcome.
That's likely what the Nebraska Cornhuskers (4-11, 0-8 in Big Ten play) are thinking after they took an early eight point lead on the No. 21 Wisconsin Badgers (15-6, 9-5), only to fall 61-48 Wednesday night in Lincoln.
Wisconsin shot the ball poorly all night, making just 10 shots in each half and finishing 20-62 (32.3%) for the game, but they were able to take advantage of some sloppy turnovers, 17 in all, from a Nebraska team still looking for its first conference win.
Freshman Jonathan Davis was the only Wisconsin player to score in double digits with 10 points. Nebraska's Lat Mayen led all scorers with 14.
Wisconsin is next in action Sunday at home against No. 3 Michigan.
