Kobe King to leave Wisconsin basketball program

Kobe King will leave Wisconsin.

He announced his decision on Instagram, writing that the decision was difficult.

"This has been a very tough decision for me. However, after spending almost three years in the Wisconsin program, I have realized that this program is not the right fit for me as a player and person."

King thanked his coaches, trainers, and teammates in the post.

In a statement made by Wisconsin men's basketball coach Greg Gard, the Badgers' head man says that he's disappointed in the decision, but respects King's right to make the best decision for himself.
