Rutgers got hot near the end of the first half and kept it up in the second half, rallying to take down Wisconsin 72-65 on Wednesday night in New Jersey.
For the Badgers, their road woes continue as Wisconsin fell to 0-5 in neutral-site or road games this season.
Kobe King had 18 points for Wisconsin and Trevor Anderson added 11 off the bench, but the Badgers were out-rebounded 34-22 in the loss.
The Badgers are now at .500 with a 5-5 record. All five wins have come on the home floor at the Kohl Center, where they will return for three non-conference games beginning Saturday, December 21 against Milwaukee.
