A slow start by the Badgers faded as Wisconsin got hot in the second half from the floor, pulling away down the stretch from McNeese State on Wednesday night at the Kohl Center in Madison, winning 83-63.
Four Badgers reached double figures, led by Brad Davison with 24 points. Aleem Ford had 16, Brevin Pritzl notched 13, and Nate Reuvers added 10.
Wisconsin's defense also got the job done, forcing 18 turnovers.
Next up, the Badgers will take on Marquette on Sunday in the annual match-up between the intra-state rivals.
