Iowa scored 16 fourth-quarter points, but Wisconsin stopped Hawkeyes quarterback Nate Stanley on a two-point conversion try that would have tied the game to preserve a 24-22 win on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.
Jonathan Taylor ran for 250 yards on 31 carries, Danny Davis had a rushing and receiving touchdown, and Jack Coan tossed a touchdown to Quintez Cephus in Wisconsin's win.
The victory snapped a two-game losing streak and kept Wisconsin two games back of Minnesota in the Big Ten West Division with three games to play.
