With Alex Hornibrook in concussion protocol, Badgers coach Paul Chryst said on his radio show Thursday that Jack Coan will be ready to go if needed.
Chryst also offered a preview of the Northwestern game on Saturday, and offered some insight into what practice has been like this week without Hornibrook. The Badgers beat Illinois last Saturday, but it's not determined when Hornibrook suffered his concussion.
