Paul Chryst was proud of the effort, particularly by a short-handed defense due to injuries, but the team didn't make enough plays to win, falling 38-13 to Michigan on Saturday night.
Chryst was happy with how some of the young players, playing in a big environment at Michigan, responded and were able to gain valuable experience, albeit in a loss.
The Badgers struggled offensively, on third down and in the passing game, and also had some trouble blocking on pass plays.
