So where do we stand with the state of baseball today? Once news surfaced Wednesday about a meeting between Commissioner Rob Manfred and MLBPA President Tony Clark and a potential deal between the two sides, it seemed like baseball was coming back. The apparent deal gives players the full pro ration of their salaries and they get to keep the money they were given initially in March, so essentially its a little bonus. Clark needs a win to appease the players since the last labor agreement was very owner friendly. Czabe and Drew discuss both sides of the deal and Drew still feels a deal will happen and baseball will be back.
