Chris Broussard: “You could see the pain on Jayson Tatum’s face from his ankle injury after the first play in the game. At one point he looked like a decoy... I won’t take anything away from the Miami Heat though, Miami has been banged up themselves. The Celtics choked, we thought it would be Miami but the Celtics had more talent, home court advantage with all the momentum with home court advantage. They had the least amount of points since December 21st!”
Rob Parker: “The Celtics have lost these games at home, they were under .500 going into the series. It’s not a total shocker, I just thought with the momentum they had from the buzzer beater they’d go out way better than that.”
Tonight on The Odd Couple Chris Broussard & Rob Parker admit to the listeners that they were wrong with their prediction of with Celtics-Heat Game 7 last night in the ECF. The two breakdown the reasons the Celtics had a tough time keeping up with the Heat & what led them to fall short at home in Game 7. The guys both agree that the Celtics are a better team and it was an absolute choke job by Boston.
