Bob Nightengale of USA Today joined The Mike Heller Show on Tuesday to talk about the reports that the Brewers and Christian Yelich have agreed to a 7 year almost $200 million dollar extension. Bob Nightengale of USA Today says the Brewers saw a deal to good to pass up. The team has been committing money to the city and the team, creating an attractive environment for players and fans.
Nightengale says with Ryan Braun's salary coming off the books in 2022, it made it easier for the Brewers to make this deal.
