Don Banks of Patriots.com told The Mike Heller Show on Monday that Josh McDaniels should have plenty of interest in coaching the Green Bay Packers, since the position checks all of the boxes that would apply to how he would fit in with the franchise, including working with a top quarterback.
In addition to the team, its history, and location, McDaniels could also move past the messy situation with Indianapolis last offseason, in which he accepted the head coaching job there verbally but de-committed later on.
In that, Banks says that it would be interesting to see if any announcement were made on that front before the Patriots' season ended, for that reason.
