33 Years ago today, Joe Niekro gets caught red handed

For some reason, I love watching footage of old baseball fights and ejections. I'm not really sure why it can be so entertaining to me, but I think it has something to do with the idea that there are grown men that let the lure of winning this beautiful game of baseball act in such hilarious ways. One of my favorite ejections ever was this one by Joe Niekro and the famous file. I think it is made better because he literally looked 50 on the mound. This dude looked ready to strap on his Nike Air Monarchs after the game and head to the hardware store to do dad stuff. And then the way he pitched it away like no one would see it. You're on the mound of a major league stadium my dude! One of the best blooper real specials of all time. Enjoy this blast from the past.
