Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions is the home opener for the Green Bay Packers.
Thursday's injury report for the Packers had five players who didn't practice and two more who were limited, but three players who were limited in practice Wednesday were full-go on Thursday.
Offensive linemen Elgton Jenkins, Lucas Patrick, and Billy Turner all moved from limited participation to full participation, boding well for the depth up front for Green Bay. However, pass catchers Equanimeous St. Brown and Josiah Deguara did not participate Thursday after being limited Wednesday.
Defensive lineman Kenny Clark didn't participate for the second straight practice with a groin injury.
In Thursday's press conferences, Matt LaFleur discussed the difficult challenge ahead of the Packers in facing the Lions this Sunday. Adrian Amos, Za'Darius Smith, Preston Smith, and Mike Pettine took time to talk about the defense and how they will approach an offense led by Matthew Stafford, Adrian Peterson, and a stable of talented receivers. Kick returner Tyler Ervin was impressed by the offensive showing last week and hopes for more success this week for the Packers.
