Packers coach Matt LaFleur discussed the preparations for the Detroit Lions on Sunday with reporters, which is also the home opener for Green Bay.
LaFleur said that the silence of U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for the season opener was surprising, but he's had the team practice inside of an empty Lambeau Field to get used to the new atmosphere.
On the injury front, nearly a dozen Packers are on the list. LaFleur had high praise for the players who stepped in for injured players in Sunday's win over Minnesota.
LaFleur noted that the Lions led both games last year and the Packers had to come back to win, so he expects a challenge from Detroit, which will also have former Vikings running back Adrian Peterson in the backfield.
