Plenty to take away from Packers' win over Vikings, says Coach LaFleur

A big offensive effort and some struggles in the fourth quarter for the defense highlighted the Packers' season-opening win over the Vikings on Sunday.

LaFleur was pleased that the offense picked it up after a slow start, dominating time of possession and finding ways to get the ball to their number-one receiver, Davante Adams, who tied a franchise record with 14 receptions on 17 targets. LaFleur also was happy with the resiliency of the offensive line, as it dealt with injuries and shuffling up front in paving the way for a 522-yard day.

Defensively, LaFleur concedes that they can't get away with letting a team put up 24 points in the fourth quarter and expect to have success.

Here's what coach Matt LaFleur had to say about the 43-34 victory.
