If fans were hoping recent roster developments would lead to the Packers making a move to shore up the offense, that bubble burst during Sunday's media availability with Green Bay's general manager, Brian Gutekunst.
Despite Devin Funchess opting out and Jace Sternberger ending up on the COVID-19 reserve list, the Green Bay Packers are moving forward with their pass-catcher group into training camp with no major moves planned to address the depth of the position.
Instead, the Packers will rely on the development of a young wide receiver group led by Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and others, as well as the continued involvement of running backs and tight ends in the passing game.
Gutekunst seemed happy with virtually every position heading into training camp, with the team making only minor roster moves as the Packers get ready for training camp ahead of the 2020 season.
