A late-season addition to the Packers is returning in 2020 to Green Bay.
Reports on Friday morning indicated that the Packers were re-signing 2019 waiver claim Tyler Ervin. Ervin, who also plays running back, is expected to serve as the primary kick returner for Green Bay in 2020.
Ervin, who will turn 27 during the 2020 season, turned around a moribund return game for the Packers. In just four games, Ervin returned 11 punts for 106 yards, as well as six kickoffs for 160 yards. In four years, Ervin has amassed 2,225 return yards in stints with Houston, Jacksonville, and now Green Bay.
According to ESPN's Field Yates, the deal is for one year.
