Highlights from Matt LaFleur's season-ending press conference

Now that the offseason is underway, Green Bay's coaching staff and front office can get to work on evaluation.

Matt LaFleur's season-ending press conference showed that the Packers' head coach is ready to get to work on building upon the successes of the 2019 season. LaFleur also stood by defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, who will be retained for 2020.

LaFleur had earlier said that he was in the process of evaluating the staff, but met with Pettine after the press conference and informed the defensive coordinator he'd be back for 2020.

In regards to the NFC Championship, LaFleur was disappointed and frustrated that the effort wasn't up to the intensity level that had been seen in earlier games this season.

On the offensive side of the ball, LaFleur is looking forward to building upon the schemes introduced in 2019, and that the offense itself is dynamic and can evolve as the team prepares for next year.
