Plenty of eyes will be on the Packers' offensive line this week as they get set to handle the pass rush of the Broncos. Plus, which Green Bay wide receiver will step up behind Davante Adams against Denver?
David Michalski of Cheesehead TV looks at some of the most intriguing match-ups this week.
- Elgton Jenkins vs. Von Miller and Bradley Chubb: With the rookie Jenkins getting his first NFL start, and the guard positions being the only path to Rodgers, I expect Fangio to send Chubb and Miller at Jenkins early and force him to prove he can hold up against the high heat of an elite pass rush.
- The Zone Rushing Attack vs. The Broncos Front Seven: Last week we saw the Packers offense stall once the Vikings were able to shut down the running game and make Green Bay one dimensional. The gameplan for the Broncos Defense should be plain and simple, shut down the zone rushing attack and then unleash Miller and Chubb on Jenkins and Turner.
- Aaron Rodgers vs. Vic Fangio: To this point, Aaron Rodgers has been nothing more than an elite game manager. However, if the Packers want to be considered a real threat, Aaron must step up and make plays on a more consistent basis.
