After 31 career games with the Packers in three-plus seasons, kick returner/wide receiver Trevor Davis has been traded by Green Bay to the Oakland Raiders.
Per a report from Ian Rapoport on Wednesday afternoon, Davis was sent to the Raiders, where he will immediately be in the mix for regular time at wide receiver. With the Packers, Davis saw only limited action on offense, catching just nine passes in his time spent in Green Bay.
Davis was most frequently utilized as a return specialist, particularly in 2017 when he racked up 996 yards on kick and punt returns with one touchdown. However, injuries limited his production in 2018, and on three punt returns in 2019, Davis only gained one yard.
