Six standouts from the Packers' preseason

Here's six players, three of them at the wide receiver position, that stood out during the Green Bay Packers' preseason games.

David Michalski of Cheesehead TV also offers a few players who stood out for the wrong reasons in Packers camp:

Six Players Who Stood Out This Camp:
1. Darrius Shepherd: He has shown to be valuable both on special teams and as a receiver. He has proven to the team that he can be a reliable player who can make game-changing play after game-changing play.
2. Ty Summers: Ty Summers has shown progression throughout the preseason and has a nose for the ball. He has been able to improve his tackling and has the chance to become a rotational player in 2019.
3. Dexter Williams: At times, he looked like a veteran running back squaring up his shoulders and patiently finding the holes. In addition to his talent as a runner, Williams showed tremendous upside in the screen game.
4. Trevor Davis: Despite his early injury, Trevor Davis has once again earned his spot on the Packers 53 man roster. The cherry on top for Davis in this preseason was he gave us all a glimpse of the value he can provide in Matt LaFleur's offense.
5. Allen Lazard: Lazard made big play after big play and showed the ability to catch the ball in tight spaces and tight windows. He has strong hands and an optimal frame to catch any jump ball.
6. Danny Vitale: You could see him blocking in different formations, getting an occasional carry on 3rd and 1, and showing his athleticism in the open field after catching a pass down the sidelines.
Four Players Who Didn't Fare As Well:
1. DeShone Kizer: Kizer looked like he knew Thursday was his last game as a Packer. His constant problem has been changing systems and struggling to make fundamental and routine throws consistently.
2. Mason Crosby:  If the Packers are really looking to save money and move on from Crosby, the die may have already been cast.
3. J'Mon Moore: He definitely needs more work with his in-game route running, which is fixable over time, but his real problem resides with his inability to make routine catches as well as his inability to catch the ball with his hands.
4. Kevin King: Kevin King has proven when healthy, he can shut down the deep threat and be an average starter in this league. The problem is, he is absolutely NEVER healthy.
