A special teams contributor in 2018, linebacker James Crawford was released by the Green Bay Packers on Monday.
Crawford played in all 16 games, recording nine tackles and a fumble recovery. Crawford was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Illinois in 2018. From the Packers' press release:
The Green Bay Packers have released LB James Crawford. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Monday.
Crawford signed with Green Bay as an undrafted free agent on Aug. 8, 2018, and went on to play in all 16 games last season, leading the team with 13 tackles on special teams.
