Despite most of the starters seeing little or no action in the preseason, Packers coach Matt LaFleur believes that the team is ready for the season opener on September 5.
Typically, starters won't see action in the first or last preseason game for the most part. In the week two game against Baltimore, a handful of projected starters got a little bit of work in before giving way to the reserves.
In the third preseason week, last week against the Raiders in Winnipeg, field conditions forced Green Bay to pull over a third of the active roster from participating. While there are several others who haven't played, Aaron Rodgers is easily the most visible Packers player to not appear in a preseason contest in 2019.
All of that being said, the players and Coach LaFleur agree that they'll be ready to go in week one.
