2019 is a make-or-break year for Kevin King

Packers cornerback Kevin King, when healthy, has shown himself to be a valuable contributor. However, the mounting injuries suggest King is on the verge of not panning out in Green Bay.

Cory Jennerjohn of Cheesehead TV writes that because King has trouble staying on the field, it's forced the Packers to work the waiver wire to find suitable replacements should King miss extended time in 2019. That's what makes it a make-or-break season:

This is King’s third season. He doesn’t become a free agent until 2021, but this is a make or break season for him. If he has to miss significant time due to injury this year, the Packers will move on. King has been placed on season-ending injured reserve during his first two seasons, this was supposed the year that he turned heads.
