The Green Bay Packers defeated the Houston Texans 28-26 on Thursday night at Lambeau Field in their exhibition opener.
DeShone Kizer threw one touchdown pass, while Tim Boyle threw two, and the Packers played better defensively and on special teams than what they've done in previous years.
Depth was on display at defensive line, linebacker, and wide receiver, and it was the first look at several potential key contributors on this year's team as players like Ka'Dar Hollman, Oren Burks, and Raven Greene played big roles as they work towards potentially starting games in the regular season.
The Packers' defense also grabbed two interceptions in the contest.
