After being held out of training camp due to his recovery from having his wisdom teeth removed, Green Bay Packers safety Darnell Savage returned to practice on Wednesday and picked up right where he left off: with the first-team defense.
Zachary Jacobson of Cheesehead TV took note of Savage and his involvement as he rejoined the team in training camp, with Savage apparently not missing a beat upon his return to action:
Wednesday marked the first time he practiced with the team during training camp, including his first padded practice, ensuring that he was a full-go and ready to resume any duties the Packers have planned for him in their defense. Those duties included entrenching him right back in with the first-string defense, right where he left off in minicamp.
