Packers QBs getting lots of reps in training camp

While there's no controversy about the starting quarterback in Green Bay, the Packers are trying hard to work in all three backups to get as many reps in as possible per practice ahead of the preseason.

This season, the Packers enter camp with four quarterbacks: Aaron Rodgers, the former MVP; DeShone Kizer, who stepped in for Rodgers last season and struggled in three appearances, completing just 47.6% of his passes; Tim Boyle, in his second year after going undrafted last season; and undrafted rookie free agent Manny Wilkins, who played in college at Arizona State.

Coach Matt LaFleur spoke about the position after practice on Friday, first noting the progress of primary backup DeShone Kizer, saying that he's picking things up well as he learns his third offense in three seasons:

LaFleur says one of the challenges of training camp is finding enough reps for all four quarterbacks, both to prepare them for the preseason games and to see what they have at the position:

Overall, LaFleur believes that the team is coming together throughout offseason workouts and the first couple of practices at training camp:
