After going defense-defense with their first two picks of the 2019 NFL Draft on Thursday during the first round, Green Bay added help on the other side of the ball Friday in the second and third rounds.
With the 12th pick of the second round, Green Bay added Mississippi State offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins. Jenkins is projected to play guard, but also played center in college.
With the 12th pick of the third round, the Packers picked up Texas A&M tight end Jace Sternberger, who caught 10 touchdowns in his lone season with the Aggies.
Green Bay still has four more picks to make in the NFL Draft on Day 3 on Saturday.

Elgton Jenkins should bring positional versatility to the front line, where the Packers have had to deal with injuries and attrition the past few seasons. Jenkins will be in the mix at guard.
Jace Sternberger addresses a perpetual position of need, one in which the Packers have tried just about everything besides a high draft pick to solve in recent memory. Sternberger is a receiving threat, but the hope is that with some stability in coaching for the first time since high school, Sternberger can become more well-rounded at the position.
