The full 2019 Green Bay Packers Schedule was released on Wednesday by the NFL. A leaked version of the schedule was available three hours ahead of the official announcement. The Packers open the season at Chicago and close the season at Detroit.
After the Week 1 game at Chicago on Thursday night to kick off the NFL season, the Packers will enjoy a string of three straight home games. Green Bay will see Minnesota in the second week of the season in a Sunday noon game, with Detroit visiting a week later. The Packers will have their second Thursday primetime game of September when they host the Philadelphia Eagles on September 26.
October begins with a Sunday road game against Dallas. Green Bay will then be back at home for two straight weeks, facing the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football October 14th and the Oakland Raiders the following Sunday.
A primetime road game against reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes is on tap Sunday, October 27, before the Packers turn back around and hit the road to take on the defending NFC Champion Los Angeles Rams the following week. Green Bay gets a home game against Carolina before taking their Week 11 bye.
Just two home games are on the schedule for the Packers after November 11. After two road games against San Francisco (November 24) and the New York Giants (December 1), one of them will be against Washington on December 8. The other will be the following week against the Chicago Bears at noon on Sunday, December 15.
A Monday Night Football contest against Minnesota is on tap for December 23, and the Packers finish at Detroit on December 29.
