With Mike McCarthy gone, blame game shifts to Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay's been eliminated from the postseason--hardly breaking news to anyone in Wisconsin. But, with the firing of Mike McCarthy, the blame for the Packers' struggles this season has fallen to quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers were officially eliminated from postseason contention after losing to Chicago on Sunday, dropping their playoff hopes from single-digit percentages to zero, and the focus has turned to how the Packers should approach their final two games, against two also-rans that the Packers are, in essence, competing against for NFL Draft position.

While Aaron Rodgers hasn't done much to stem the tide of blame coming his way in the past two weeks, from the lack of rhythm on offense to his demeanor on the field and in press conferences, should he now be taking the blame for the Packers' inability to make the postseason?
