After being gifted with a turnover on a fumbled kickoff return by Ty Montgomery, the Los Angeles Rams ran out the clock against the Green Bay Packers to stay undefeated on the season, winning 29-27.
Green Bay led 10-8 at halftime, but the Rams' explosive offense was able to help Los Angeles take the lead at 16-13 in the second half. A poor punt in the fourth quarter set the Rams for another go-ahead score, a field goal with a little over two minutes remaining to give Los Angeles a 29-27 lead.
The Packers were set to take over with 2:05 on the clock and a timeout for Aaron Rodgers to work with to get into field goal range and try to kick for the win, but Ty Montgomery decided to run out a kick three yards deep into the end zone, and fumbled it back to the Rams. From there, Los Angeles was able to run out the clock and the game for their eighth win of the season.
