The Green Bay Packers have signed CB Bashaud Breeland and placed CB Davon House on injured reserve. The transactions were announced Wednesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
(BUSH-aud) Breeland, a 5-foot-11, 195-pound fifth-year player out of Clemson, was originally selected in the fourth round (No. 102 overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins. In four seasons with Washington (2014-17), he played in 60 games with 57 starts, recording 267 tackles (210 solo), eight interceptions, 60 passes defensed, seven forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and a sack. He also returned an interception for a touchdown and averaged 20.5 yards on 11 kickoff returns. Breeland will wear No. 26 for the Packers.
