Aaron Rodgers is leaving contract talks up to his agent

Saying 'that's what he's there for,' Aaron Rodgers says he isn't negotiating a contract extension with the Green Bay Packers, leaving those talks to his agent.

Rodgers told reporters that there's obvious mutual interest in getting an extension done, but that he has other things to worry about (like getting ready for the season at hand).

Still, that hasn't stopped people from asking about it, or debating his future with the team. Rodgers has two years left on his deal, and the Packers could franchise tag him for two more seasons beyond that, through his age 37 season (he'd be 38 when he would be a free agent).

NFL Live debated Rodgers' future with the team, while Mike McCarthy deferred questions about Rodgers' contract to the front office.
