-Kevin King was selected as a 2016 all-Pac 12 performer, both on the field and in the classroom, as honorable mention. King also won Washington's team award for community service.
-In addition to starting all 14 games at cornerback in 2016, King started 12 games at safety as a sophomore, showing his versatility.
-King's high school coach was former NFL linebacker Hardy Nickerson, who played for Tampa Bay. King, who played in high school at Bishop O'Dowd, earned several awards from bay-area media as a prep. He also competed in track in high school.
