Germantown is the #1 seed in Sectional 2. In Sectional 3, last year's state runner-up Middleton is the #1 seed, while strong contender Madison Memorial is the #2 seed. Three-time defending state champion Beaver Dam is a #1 seed in Sectional #2, with state participant Whitefish Bay in the #5 seed in their half-sectional. Notre Dame is the other #1 seed in this sectional. Sectional #3 has last year's state runner-up, Monroe, as a #5 seed behind top-seeded DeForest, a team Monroe beat en route to state last year. Union Grove is the other #1 seed in Sectional 3. Sectional 4 doesn't have any of the teams that advanced to state last year, with Pius XI and New Berlin Eisenhower grabbing the #1 seeds.
