The Milwaukee Bucks ran into a buzzsaw on Thursday night. The Memphis Grizzlies have now won seven games in a row after beating the Milwaukee Bucks 142-101 in Memphis.
After the game, Bucks Coach Mike Budenholzer said "we were just beaten soundly in every way, shape and form and we have to own that." That sums it up well.
The Grizzlies got out to a 33-18 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Memphis led 70-41 at halftime.
The Bucks were missing Jrue Holiday and they felt it defensively. Ja Morant recorded a triple-double for Memphis while scoring 25 points. The Grizzlies had seven players in double figures.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis led the Bucks with 19 points respectively.
The Bucks fell to 20-8. Milwaukee is off until Saturday night when they host the Utah Jazz at Fiserv Forum at 7:00pm.
