Bucks end season-long skid

The Milwaukee Bucks haven't lost six games in a row in nearly six years. Thanks to a tremendous defensive effort, that streak of futility remains intact following the Bucks 98-85 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder at Fiserv Forum Friday night.

Milwaukee got 29 points and a season-high 19 rebounds from two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was named a starter to the NBA All Gar Game this week. Teammate Khris Middleton chipped in 20 points on 7-of-18 shooting.

But the biggest difference maker for the Bucks was their much-maligned perimeter defense. Friday night, Oklahoma City made just 11 of their 34 three-point attempts (30.0 percent) in losing for the 18th time this season, second most in the Western Conference.

"(The win) Feels good," Antetokounmpo told reporters after the game. "Obviously we've got to keep working hard, keeping building good habits and have the same mindset. Win or lose, we've got to keep improving."

Antetokounmpo and the Bucks (17-13) next play Sunday night at home against Sacramento (12-16).
