Bucks fall short in rally, lose Game 2 116-114 to Heat Tuesday

A controversial, foul-filled ending didn't decide the game, but put an end to another mistake-filled game by the Eastern Conference's #1 seed.

Game 2 went to the Miami Heat, 116-114, on Tuesday night in Orlando. The Milwaukee Bucks now trail in the series 2-0.

Miami made 17 of 45 three-point shot attempts, or 37.8%, and shot 45.7% from the floor against the NBA's top regular season defensive squad.

Offensively, the Bucks made 30 of 60 shots inside the arc, including 52 points in the paint, but only mustered seven made three-pointers on 28% shooting from deep in the loss. Additionally, Milwaukee turned the ball over 14 times.

Giannis Antetokounmpo turned in 29 points and 14 rebounds, with Khris Middleton adding 23 points.

Seven heat players scored in double figures, including former Whitnall High School standout Tyler Herro, who knocked down 17 points from the bench. Fellow Marquette alums Jae Crowder and Jimmy Butler combined for 29 points for Miami.

Game 3 is set for Friday afternoon.
