NBA players decide to resume season

After the Milwaukee Bucks led a strike against playing NBA Playoff games that resulted in six games being postponed Wednesday and Thursday, the NBA's players decided to move forward with the season, which could resume Friday.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported Thursday that players decided to resume the season, and added that Thursday's three NBA Playoff games were being postponed. That brings the total number of postponed games to six.

It wasn't only the NBA striking against play. The WNBA shut down play on Wednesday night as well, as did MLS and some MLB teams, including the Milwaukee Brewers.

In their NBA Playoff series, the Milwaukee Bucks lead three games to one over the Orlando Magic. Game six was scheduled to be played Friday, but the NBA hasn't announced a new schedule yet to account for the postponed games from Wednesday and Thursday.
