Bucks fall to Nets 119-116 in battle of reserves

Tuesday's game between the Bucks and Nets felt like an exhibition, and the minutes played by regulars for each team tell that story.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton didn't see the floor in the second half of the Milwaukee Bucks' 119-116 loss to the short-handed Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday afternoon.

Brooklyn, missing virtually its entire projected rotation, was able to fend off a late charge by the Bucks' backups, holding on for a 119-116 victory.

Milwaukee's starters played just 20 minutes, with Antetokounmpo and Middleton each playing only 16 minutes each. Antetokounmpo managed to lead the team in scoring with 16 points.

Milwaukee plays the Miami Heat Thursday afternoon in their fourth seeding game. Any Bucks win over their last five seeding games clinches the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
