Playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who fouled out, for the final 5:18 of the game, the Milwaukee Bucks rallied to win their season opener over the Houston Rockets on Thursday night, 117-111.
Antetokounmpo recorded a triple-double, leading all scorers with 30 points while also grabbing 13 rebounds and handing out 11 assists. Seven Bucks finished in double figures on the night, including a 14-point effort from Wesley Matthews and 13 off the bench for Ersan Ilyasova.
The Rockets were led by Russell Westbrook's 24 points and 16 rebounds, while James Harden had 19 points and 14 assists.
The Bucks out-scored the Rockets 39 to 24 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
