At what point is Toronto Raptors superfan and rapper Drake crossing the line with his antics on the court during the NBA Playoffs?
A fantastic question because the line between spectator and occasional participant seems blurred when watching Drake, say, give a shoulder massage to the head coach of the home team in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The behavior isn't necessarily obscene or (probably) affecting what happens on the court in any way, but to non-Raps fans, it's probably somewhere between annoying and aggravating to watch a fan so gleefully go through a secret-pals handshake with one of the team's top players as they exit the floor during a timeout.
Canadian Spike Lee has drawn the ire of Milwaukee Bucks fans this NBA Playoffs, to the point that newspaper articles are being written in Milwaukee about the loathing by local fans about the rapper. Everyone from Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer to reps for Giannis Antetokounmpo have spoken out against Drake's behavior on the floor at Raptors home games.
The Bucks will have to deal with it for one more game. Game 6 is in Toronto on Saturday.
