With 29 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks, Brook Lopez turned it up in the second half as Milwaukee rallied to defeat the Toronto Raptors 108-100 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The 29 points are a playoff career-high for Lopez.
Lopez had teammates Malcolm Brogdon and Eric Bledsoe point to his effort as the biggest factor in the victory. The NBA dubbed the night 'historic' and praise came from all comers, including the network postgame shows, which cited his 29 points in the match-up with Toronto as evidence that he will have a big impact the rest of the way in the series.
Game 2 is Friday night at Fiserv Forum.
