Milwaukee raced out to a 13-point first quarter lead, which ended up being the final margin, as the Bucks defeated the Celtics in Boston on Friday night 120-107.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was his usual steady self, scoring 30 points, 17 of them in the third quarter, to lead the Bucks while also pulling down eight boards. Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon combined for 31 points and 18 rebounds, and Eric Bledsoe (16), Tony Snell (15), and Thon Maker (12) all reached double figures as well in the win.
Jaylen Brown led Boston with 21 points, while Jayson Tatum scored 20.
The win moved the Bucks to a 22-9 record, their fourth victory in a row, and kept the Bucks a game and a half back of Toronto in the East. It also pushed Milwaukee two full games up on Indiana to remain in second place.
