Bucks to interview several coaches this week

The interview process is already underway for the Milwaukee Bucks as they look for their next head coach.

Milwaukee fired Jason Kidd in the middle of this past season and had assistant coach Joe Prunty fill in for the remainder of the season, but the search is on for the next coach of the Bucks.

On the plus side, the new head coach will get to work with a playoff-ready team, one led by rising superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

On the down side, the team has no room to add significant new pieces to compliment Antetokounmpo, and the upcoming ownership transition of power is concerning for some of the candidates, per an ESPN report.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted out a list of interviews for the Bucks this week, noting the Bucks have already begun the process this weekend. Mike Budenholzer and Monty Williams appear to be the favorites for the position, although headlines were made when Becky Hammon was announced as one of the candidates. Hammon will be the first woman to interview for an NBA head coaching job.
