Malcolm Brogdon was a unanimous selection for the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
Brogdon led rookies in assists (4.2 apg) and steals (1.12 spg) and ranked second in three-point field goal percentage (40.4) and free throw percentage (86.5). He was also third in field goal percentage (45.7) and fourth in scoring (10.2 ppg). Brogdon was joined by Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid and Dario Saric on the All-Rookie First Team, along with Sacramento’s Buddy Hield and New York’s Willy Hernangomez.
Brogdon is a finalist for KIA NBA Rookie of the Year. The NBA Awards will be broadcast live on TNT beginning at 8 p.m. CT Tuesday.
