After stealing a victory on Tuesday night, the Milwaukee Brewers couldn't muster up enough offense on Wednesday in a 5-1 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Raimel Tapia got the Brewers on the board in the fifth inning with a solo home run to give Milwaukee the lead. It was the first home run as a member of the Brewers for Tapia.
However, Arizona scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning against Elvis Peguero to take a 2-1 lead. They added three more runs against the Brewers bullpen and beat Milwaukee 5-1.
On the bright side, Julio Teheran was impressive again on the mound for the Brewers. Teheran pitched five innings and didn't allow a run. He owns a 1.53 earned run average in his six starts as a member of the Brewers.
Milwaukee is 38-36. They are off on Thursday before starting a three-city road trip in Cleveland on Friday night. Listen to the Baseball Postgame Show after the game on 97.3 The Game in Milwaukee and the iHeart Radio App.
