Brewers Extend Losing Streak to Six with 4-2 Loss to Twins

The Milwaukee Brewers haven't won in a week after their sixth straight loss on Wednesday. The Brewers fell to the Minnesota Twins 4-2 on a sunny afternoon at Target Field. The Twins completed the two-game sweep.

Milwaukee got out to a 2-0 lead with solo home runs from Brian Anderson and Luis Urias in the second inning. In the third inning, the Twins struck back with four runs to take a 4-2 lead.

Neither team scored again and the Twins won 4-2. Listen to the postgame show with Tim Allen from Wednesday, below.

On the mound, Colin Rae was average for Milwaukee. He threw five innings, allowed four runs, walked three, and struck out four batters. He kept Milwaukee in the game, but the Brewers couldn't get anything going on offense after the second inning.

Milwaukee is 34-34 and at .500 for the first time since the second day of the season. After an off day on Thursday, they will try to snap their losing streak on Friday night as they return home to face the Pittsburgh Pirates. First pitch is at 7:10pm.
