Brewers Lose Series Finale to Cardinals 3-0

The Milwaukee Brewers offense was again silenced by a left-handed pitcher on Wednesday night in their 3-0 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. With the win, the Cardinals earned the series win.

The Cardinals got on the board in the first inning when Nolan Arenado drove in Paul Goldschmidt. It was Arenado’s 1,000th career RBI. 

Corbin Burnes settled in nicely after that and pitched scoreless innings until the sixth inning. That is when Paul DeJong hit a two-run home run to give St. Louis a 3-0 lead.
